Owner, Head Coach
Kayla Grover is a K-4 Physical Education Teacher in Methuen and the Goalkeeper Coach for Salem State University. She currently holds a USSF “E” License and an NSCAA Goalkeeping Level 2 Diploma.
Kayla Grover has seven years of coaching experience at all levels including youth, club, high school and college. Kayla started her soccer career at Haverhill High School where she was a four year goalkeeper starter at the Varsity level. From there, she went on to Bridgewater State University as the starting goalkeeper from 2007 – 2010. In those four years, Kayla helped the Bears in numerous games and served as Team Captain her senior year. She currently ranks 4th all time for the Bears in career minutes played (4,753 minutes), games played (55), and 5th all-time in career goals against average (1.51).

Junior Staff Member
Sam Montagno is currently a Senior at Berwick Academy. She has been the starting goalkeeper for Berwick’s varsity team since 8th grade. She played club soccer for Seacoast United Soccer Club from U12 to U14 and has been playing for her current club, FC Stars of Massachusetts, since U15. Samantha did play on FC Stars Development Academy Team for one season before going back to Berwick.
Samantha received offers from D1 and D2 schools to play soccer in college. She has committed to play college soccer at D2 powerhouse Wingate University in 2019.
Kayla has been coaching Sam since 2012 and she was the first goalkeeper Kayla started training.
